"FENSTERos"
is
a series of installations which wants to reflect on the
act of looking out of the window and from there on the
conditions and circumstances of some people or social
groups.
The
first Installation of the series was presented during
48 Stunden Neukölln 2007.
“Within the framework of the door”
shows an immigrant lodged in the deportation centre Motardstraße
6 in Berlin, A place to concentrate those immigrants who
cannot live in Germany but for some legal reason they
cannot be repatriated. In 2006 there was made a manifestation
to protest against the terrible conditions in this house.
The melancholy of the Man who during the 2 hours which
last the action was looking out of the window without
moving… seems to be a good point to reflect on the
situation of those who are within the framework “of
the door”.

"MOVIMIENTos"
Jana
Taube is finishing her studies of European Ethnology in
Berlin. All the projects she develops in collaboration
with Alejandra Borja (INTRANSITos group) are always of
urban and social character.
The installation MOVIMIENTos is a peculiar glance to the
definition of the own identity on the basis of the corporal
language and the accessories with which we present us.
MOVIMIENTos is a photographic sequence made during the
carnival of cultures 2006 in Berlin.
